The "Netzwelt Webtools" are three small programs built into one. The "Ruler" measures pixel on the screen ? horizontal as well as vertical. The integrated "Color Picker" works like a pipette, telling the user which color value is used for a chosen pixel. The "Screen Magnifier" enlarges a selected section. Moreover, the coordinates are displayed accurately to the pixel.

The Netzwelt Webtools do without a menu. Instead there are six little buttons on the ruler, the first of which closes the program. The second button activates and deactivates the function "always in the foreground." Via the third button, the horizontal ruler may be switched to a vertical one and vice versa. The ruler can be pushed to the desired place on the screen by drag&drop and expanded or diminished with the help of the double-headed arrow. An arrow which simplifies measuring to the point is activated via mouseover.

The fourth button activates the color picking mode. Here, one may pick up to eight different color values from the screen with a reticle. The values are shown as colors and as hex values. Copying is possible with a double click.

The magnifier button activates a field which displays a section of the screen in 48-time magnification. This is ideal as a check while developing html pages. Moreover, coordinates are displayed accurately to the pixel.

The "Netzwelt Webtools" are freeware and can be used by corporate as well as private users free of charge. Since the menu hardly needs any words, non-German users can work with it easily and intuitively.
