The program has been designed as universal product for security cross platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and distant workstations. Customers see MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using network that surveillance station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition drastically improves reliability because all modules work as independent applications. If one unit fails, other units keep on running. For example if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` component. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by activity, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote pc through Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
