With the binding of the DLL "NSp_FXP.dll" contained in the program package NSp_FXParser, it becomes programmers possible let calculate complex mathematical expressions in its projects (for example mathematics programs) during the running time of the finished application. A String with the mathematical formulation is delivered to the parser. The length of the Strings is nearly unlimited. As a result of the calculation, a float or real value becomes back delivered.
An integrated error scan-system supports the users to avoid syntactic mistakes and from that resulting miscalculations.
This mathematical formula-parser is suited for the calculation of expressions without variable just as like for the calculation of functions with max. 3 variable (X,Y,Z). Formulas respectively mathematical expressions can predefined and held in memory, therefor it is possible to save calculation time in time critical routines.
Each 32bit-Windows programming language, that can address variable directly or indirectly over its Pointer, should be in the situation, to call the DLL respectively link. These are among other things Visual Basic, Profane², Delphi, PowerBasic PB/DLL and C++. Sourcecode examples for Profan² and Visual Basic are available. As an operating system, MS-Windows 95 or higher is required on an IBM-compatible PC with suitable hardware.
