STEPGEN erzeugt Rampen für Schrittmotoren im INTEL-Format. Der Anwender gibt die von ihm gewünschte Charakteristik der Rampe an: Startwert, Schrittanzahl und Endwert, außerdem LINEAR, SINUS oder EXPONENTIELL. STEPGEN erzeugt die Rampenwerte, wandelt sie ins Hexadezimalformat, erzeugt Header und Checksum im INTEL-Format, Ausgabe als Textfile. Die Rampenkennlinie wird grafisch dargestellt.
