Z-DataDVD brennt komplette Verzeichnisse, zum Transport, zur Sicherung oder zur Archivierung auf DVD R/W,DVD R,DVD-R,DVD-R/W,DVD-RAM,CDR und CDR/W. Das Programm hat eine einfach zu bedienende Programmoberfläche und kann auch über Kommandozeilen-Parameter gesteuert werden. Das ermöglicht eine zeitgesteuerte Sicherung mittels des in Windows integrierten Taskplaners oder mittels Z-Cron. Die Freeware Version brennt max. 375 MByte pro Brennvorgang.
