Z-DataBurn brennt komplette Verzeichnisse, zum Transport, zur Sicherung oder zur Archivierung auf CD-R/CD-RW. Das Programm hat eine einfach zu bedienende Programmoberfläche und kann auch über Kommandozeilen-Parameter gesteuert werden. Das ermöglicht eine zeitgesteuerte Sicherung mittels des in Windows integrierten Taskplaners oder mittels Z-Cron. Die Freeware Version brennt max. 375 MByte pro Brennvorgang.
