Mac2Fat wandelt Dateinamen um, die Zeichen enthalten, die auf Windows-Volumes nicht erlaubt sind. Dadurch entfällt besonders bei großen Ordnerstrukturen die lästige Suche nach solchen Dateien und das Kopieren auf Windows-Volumes wird nicht mehr mit Fehler -50 abgebrochen. Für Mac-User mit FAT-formatieren Wechselplatten ein unverzichtbares Tool.
