Mit Downsplit kann man Dateien aus dem Netz downloaden, wobei man abgebrochene Downloads auch spaeter fortsetzen kann, und grosse Dateien auf mehrere Disketten verteilen, wobei auf der ersten Diskette ein komfortables Installationsprogramm gespeichert wird. Die Bedienung des Programms ist intuitiv. Alle aktuellen Downloads werden gespeichert, wenn man das Programm verlaesst.
