Quick Recovery for MAC is a do-it- yourself, non-destructive, simple and easy to use data recovery software, supports IDE, EIDE, SCSI , SATA drives, long file name, having multi-disk and multi-lingual support, simulates previously existing partitions and is read-only i.e. the program will never attempt to write to the drive to recover. Its unique Guided File Excavation Technology (GFETch) helps in locating files and folders lost behind overwritten partitions and even if bad sectors hinder drive access. An exhaustive scan of the drive is performed to locate lost partitions. Bad Sector management and recovery (BSMR) helps in optimized recovery from damaged disks. It recovers data from missing/ lost file/folders, files/ folders lost due to segment load error, damaged FDD/ USB/ ZIP/ MO drives, deleted/ formatted partition/ logical volumes, damaged/ deleted/ corrupted volumes even from initialized disks, damaged/ corrupted data/ file/ folder, lost partition/ Volume, missing drives, missing/corrupted Operating System or software failure, accidental formatting and creating different file system, virus attack, and even from crashed drive. It recovers data even if, Mac displays the following messages:
? Segment Loader Error.
? No Such volume.
? Bad file name.
? Read/Write requested for an off-line drive.
? Bad master directory block.
? Directory not found.
? Not an HFS Volume
? Not a Macintosh disk.
? Volume header corruption.
? Catalog file's node corruption.
All found data in the lost partition is then presented in a tree structure so that you can copy your lost files to a working volume.
