Diashow 1.2 wurde ursprünglich für den Eigenbedarf entwickelt. Hierbei ging es hauptsächlich darum eine einfach zu bedienende Software zu entwickeln mit der man schlechte, unscharfe Bilder aussortieren konnte, sowie die Möglichkeit schöne Bilder seperat zu speichern um diese später entwickeln zu lassen.
