Wecker ist ein Programm, welches Sie durch verschiedene Alarmmodi (einmalig, täglich, wöchentlich, bestimmter Wochenbereich, zum Beispiel immer Montag bis Freitag, monatlich, jährlich) an Termine erinnert. Außerdem kann bei Alarm ein beliebiges Programm gestartet werden. Auch der Aufruf von Webseiten ist möglich. Es sind theoretisch unendlich viele Alarme setzbar. Wenn das Programm geschlossen ist, während die Zeit eines einmaligen Alarms erreicht ist, wird dieser Alarm beim Programmstart nachgetragen (Nachträglicher Alarm).
